DESCRIPTION:HSLA is pleased to invite members to an address by Sir Colman T
 reacy\, former Chairman of the Sentencing Council\, at Henderson Chambers 
 at 6pm on Thursday 17 October.   \n\nThe evening will be made up of two 
 short seminars: \n\n 	The Development of the Sentencing Guidelines for he
 alth and safety offences\, corporate manslaughter and gross negligence man
 slaughter” by Sir Colman Treacy.\n 	Trends in the application of the Sen
 tencing Guidelines” by Oliver Campbell QC. \n\nSir Colman Treacy was a 
 Court of Appeal judge and a former Chair of the Sentencing Council. He wil
 l speak about his views on health &amp\; safety and environmental sentenci
 ng guidelines and their purpose. \n\nOliver Campbell QC specialises in hea
 lth &amp\; safety\, product liability\, environment and regulatory claims.
  His work in those areas encompasses group actions\, inquests and inquirie
 s as well as prosecutions.  For the last decade\, he has been engaged in 
 many of the most significant cases in those fields.\n\nFree to HSLA member
