The HSLA invites you to a member event with Lisa Roberts KC, Leader of the Northern Circuit.
Lisa has prosecuted and defended many Health and Safety cases in the last decade and leads the team representing the HSE in the UK Covid-19 Inquiry. She will talk about developments in the health and safety legal sector, drawing on her experiences at ‘the coalface’.
She will also reflect on the developments she has seen in the past decade in terms of the way cases are handled, who is involved in this growing area of law, what is expected of those who are instructed and how the health and safety landscape looks now for those already embedded in this world and those who seek to be part of it.
This will be a face-to-face event and we hope that it will be an opportunity for members to get together prior to Christmas.
Please ensure you print your ticket and bring photo ID with you to the event.
